Privacy notice
How we handle data.
Plain English. No surprises. This page covers everything we collect on studea.co.uk, why, and how to switch it off.
Who we are
studea.co.uk is operated by Studea Limited, a private company registered in England and Wales, company number 17228961. For any privacy question, write to hello@studea.co.uk.
What we collect
Only website analytics, and only if you click Accept on the cookie banner. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how the site is found.
We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personal information through this site. We do not run ads. We do not sell data. We do not fingerprint visitors across other websites.
Cookies in use
- studea-consent-v1
- Local-storage entry that remembers your cookie banner choice (granted or denied). Set by this site. Strictly necessary, no expiry.
- _ga, _ga_LBSJW5YT9Q
- Google Analytics 4 cookies. Only set if you click Accept. Used to distinguish unique browsers across visits. Expire after 2 years.
Google Analytics 4 configuration
We run GA4 in a privacy-conservative configuration:
- IP addresses are anonymised before storage (
anonymize_ip: true). - Google Signals is disabled (
allow_google_signals: false) — no cross-device or demographic enrichment. - Ads personalisation signals are disabled (
allow_ad_personalization_signals: false). - Google Consent Mode v2 is set to denied by default. The GA script is only loaded after you grant consent.
Google is the data processor for these events. See Google's privacy policy and Google's partner-sites privacy notice.
Legal basis
We rely on your consent (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and PECR regulation 6) to set the analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies and site data for studea.co.uk in your browser.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@studea.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
How to opt out
- Click Decline on the cookie banner.
- If you already accepted: clear cookies and site data for studea.co.uk in your browser. The banner will reappear on next visit.
- Install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on for a permanent block across all sites.
Data retention
GA4 event data is retained for the default period of 2 months and then deleted. We do not export raw GA4 data into any other system.
